MYM의 SoJu인터뷰에대한 중국인WE매니져 ZaX의 대답

　Not long ago, since    World Elite failed to get agreement on the new contract with the 3 Korean players,     ReMinD、   Lyn and   SoJu left the team and was looking for a new club (  ReMinD and   Lyn has joined SK). Recently, MYM has had an interview with    SoJu, whose future is still unclear. However, in the interview,    SoJu let out some irresponsible words like ‘back pay’ and ‘inurbane contract’, which were ruining the fame of     World Elite. The club is really disappointed with all these, and today the    WE Manager    Zax responds to    SoJu ‘s words:：

World Elite가 3 한국인 선수 ReMinD, Lyn과 SoJu과함께 새 계약에  동의를 얻어내는것을 실패한지 오래되지않아 팀을 떠나 새팀을 찾을려고했다.(ReMinD와 Lyn은 SK에 입단했다.) 최근 MYM은 미래가 여전히 분명하지안은 SoJu와의 인터뷰를했다. 그렇치만 인터뷰에서 SoJu는 World Elite의 명성을 파멸한 "체불임금"과 "야비한 계약"같이 어떤 무책임한 말을 흘렸다. 팀은 정말 모든 이들에게 실망했고 오늘 WE 매니져 Zax는 SoJu의 말에 응답한다.



　
　　The interview made me angry. I had never thought Soju could speak such kind of words. I’m tired of this kind of endless argument. I will tell all the truth, the only time, no matter Soju will respond on this again or not.

인터뷰는 나를 화나게 만든다. 나는 결코 SoJu가 그런 종류의 단어를 말할것이라고 생각한적이없다. 나는  끝없는 말타툼에 지쳤다. SoJu가 이것에 다시 응답하던지 말던지 나는 모든 진실을 오직 한번만 말할것이다.

　　June 2005, after WE.KR was shaped up, Showtime requested to employ Remind and Soju. At that time, they were still at the level of ‘gosu’ on the BattleNet. I was not familiar with them. Showtime mentioned that their salary would be about 300$ since they didn’t get any titles in Local Games, to say nothing about International Tournaments. In the whole year of 2005, Showtime was in charge of all stuff on the salaries of the Korean players. He made a regulation on ‘salary increasing in line with their achievements’. That is the 300-600-1000-600-700 process, as Soju has mentioned. This was agreed by all of the Korean players. Showtime never thought Soju would complain on this one day.

2005년 6월 WE.KR가 형태를 갖추어졌을때, ShowTime은 ReMinD와 SoJu를 공용하는것을 부탁했다. 저때에 그들은 여전히 BattleNet에서 'gosu' 레벨 이였다. 나는 그들이 눈에 익지안았었다. showTime은 국제적인 토너먼트에대해서 어떤것도 말하지안고 Local Game에 어떤 타이틀도 갖고있지안기때문에 그들의 봉급이 약$300일것이라고 언급했다. 2005년동안에 ShowTime은 한국선수들의 봉급에 모든 시시한것을 맡았다. 그는 "그들의 업적에 얻을 가망이 있는 봉급증가"  규칙을 만들었다. 저것이 SoJu가 언급한 300-600-1000-600-700 과정이다. 이는 한국선수들 전부에의해서 동의되어졌다. ShowTime은 결코 언젠가 SoJu가 불평할것이라고 생각하지안았다.

April 2006, Showtime went to the army, I took over WE.KR. I didn’t adopt Showtime’s regulation. Instead, I paid a fixed salary to the players. If the players got any achievement in a tournament, I offered extra award. If the players got achievement in International Tournaments, I gotta raise their salary as well. So Remind and Soju got 800$ per month. At the renewal in the same year, they got an 100$ increase. That gonna be 900$ per month. Both of them got satisfied at that time. Of course, it was at that time, you can imagine they had never got any top three prizes International that time.

2006 4월 ShowTime은 군대에 갔다. 나는 WE.KR를 인계했다. 나는 Showtime의 규칙를 채택하지안았다. 대신에 나는 선수들에게  고정급을 지불했다. 선수들은 토너먼트에서 어떤 업적을 갖졌다면 나는 여분의 상금을 제공했다. 선수들은 국제적인 토너먼트에서 업적을 갖졌다면 나는 그들의 봉금을 잘 올려갔다. 그래서 ReMinD와 SoJu는 매달 800$를 가졌다. 같은해 재계약에서 그들은 100$를 증가 했었다. 저것은 매달 900$를 갖는다. 그들서로 저때에 만족했다. 물론 그것은 저때였다. 당신은 그들이 저때 어떤 어떤 국제 3위상금을 갖고온적이없었던  그림을떠올릴수있다.

　　Jan 2007, Remind got the Blizzard S4 Champion, I raised his salary by 200$ and gave him 200$ extra award. So he got 1300$ in all that month from the club. Afterwards, Soju got ESWC Korean Champion, I also gave a 200$ extra award.

2007 1월 ReMinD는 Blizzard 시즌4 챔피언이됐다. 나는 200$그의 봉금을 올려주었고 200%의 추가 상금을 그에게 주었다. 그래서 그는 팀에서 저달에 모두 1300$를 받았다. SoJu가 ESWC 한국인 챔피언된 후에 나는 또 200$의 추가 상금을 주었다.

March 2007, there was a new that MYM renewed the contracts with the Korean players with a high salary. All my players from Korean came to me for a salary raise. That was kind of earthquake. I did understand them, they would expect a same level salary with the Koreans in MYM. I felt sick about MYM that time, ‘cause the balance and smoothness were broken up.  I realized we had hidden trouble from that time. I could expect many things that might happen in the future. To smooth them, I talked much. Meantime, I raised the salary of Remind to 1300$. Lyn and Soju didn’t get achievements, so they didn’t get a salary raise.

2007년 3월 MYM이 높은 봉급으로 한국인 선수들과 계약을 연장한 뉴스가 있었다. 한국 출신 나의 선수들 모두가 봉급 인상하기위해 나에게 왔다. 저것은 지진같은 것이였다. 나는 그들을 이해할수가없다. 그들은 MYM에 한국인과 같은 레벨의 봉급을 기대했을것이다. '균형과 평탄함이 깨졌기때문에 나는 저때 MYM에대해서  아픔을 느꼈다. 나는 우리가 저때부터 감추어진 문제를 가졌다는 것을 인식했다. 나는 미래에 생길지 모르는 많은 것을 예상할수있을것이다. 그들을 부드럽게하기위해 나는 많이 이야기했다. 한편 나는 1300$으로 ReMinD의 봉급을 올려주었다. Lyn과 SoJu는 업적이없었다. 그래서 그들은 봉급인상을 갖지안았다.

　　In April, NGL Final was gonna begin. But at that time, there were some trouble with our main sponsor IGE, who refused to afford the  100,000 RMB travel fee to Germany. I was very depressed, after a whole season, everything’s lost on the final stage. But we didn’t have a second choice, so I informed the Korean players. They got angry on the news and could hardly accept the result. Soju claimed to leave the team. The club should take responsibility on this. We hadn’t taken NGL into consideration during our yearly budget, thinking that our sponsor will pay for that. I was very guilty on that. Korean Team Lead Reis suggested to borrow that amount of money from IGE. If we could get the Championship, the prize getting rid of the travel fee, we still got the rest for our players. Reis was active, trying to contact the IGE boss himself and got agreement from the players. That is the whole story that Soju has talked about in the interview. We could see that there were indeed potential problems in Reis’s plan. If I had known such kind of result, I would have refused the suggestion. We not yet get the NGL Prize money so far, so we still owe IGE the travel fee.

4월에 NGL Final은 시작했지만 저때에 독일로 100,1000RMB 여행경비를 공급하기를 거부한 우리의 메인 스폰서 IGE와 함께 어떤 문제가있었다. 그들은 뉴스에 화가났고 결과를 힘들게 받아들였다. SoJu는 팀에서 떠나기를 외쳤다. 팀은 이떄 책임을 져야했다. 우리는 우리의 스폰서가 여행경비을 지불할것이라고 생각한 년예산동안 NGL를 고려하지안앗다. 나는 저것에 매우 유죄이다. 한국인 팀을 이끄는 Reis는 IGE로부터 상당한 양의 돈의 빌리는것을 제안했다. 우리가 여행경비에서 자유로워 질수있는 우승할수있다면 우리는 우리의 선수들에대한 잔여분을 가졌다. 저것은 SoJu가 인터부에서 말했던 전체 이야기이다. 우리는 Reis의 계획안에서 실제 가능한 문제인것을 볼수있다. 내가 그런종류의 결과를 알았다면 나는 제안을 거절했을것이다. 우리는 아직 여태까지 NGL 상금를 받지안았다. 그래서 우리는 여전히 여행경기를 IGE에게 빛지고있다.

　　May – June, continuously taking about the new contract with the Korean players, no result.

5월-6월 한국선수들과함께 새 계약에대해 계속해서 논의. 결과가없다.
　　
　　Late June, when we went to Germany for WC3L Final, we got good preparation on our budget, so all the prize money was  shared by the players. The club didn’t get any cent from it. Soju has never mentioned that.

6월말 우리는 WC3L Final을 위해 독일로갔을때 우리는 우리의 예산에 좋은 준비를했다. 그래서 모든 상금은 선수들에의해서 공유되었다. 팀은 어떤돈도 갖지안았다. SoJu는 결코 저것을 언급하지안았다.
　　
　　Meanwhile, we want to have a chance to talk about the new contract in Germany. The atmosphere was good there and the game did increase the teamwork the friendship. I stated the situation of the clan, hoping that the players could spare us more time. The result was pleasant, all the Koreans promised to stay three more months after the current contract is over. In fact, the end date of the current contract on paper was July 7th.  June 27th was the day we got all those agreements. The new salary is Remind 1500$, Soju and Lyn 1200$.

한편 우리는 독일에서 새 계약에대해 이야기할 기회를 갖는것을 원했다. 분위기는 좋았고 게임은 팀워크와 우정은 증가했다. 나는 선수들이 더만은시간 우리를 용서할수있을거라는 희망으로 팀의 상황을 말했었다. 사실 서면으로 현재계약의 마지막날은 7월7일이였다. 6월27일은 우리가 모든 이들의 동의를 얻었던 날이였다. 새 봉급은 ReMinD 1500$,SoJu와 Lyn 1200$이다.

In July, Soju titled in ESWC World Final. I got complicated in mood.  On one hand, I was sincerely happy for him, while on the other, I expected something bad might happen soon. There was news that Bet offers good salaries. It came. Soju went to me for a salary raise, to 2000- 2500$. The budget was fixed and we could not offer as much as the player charged, so I refused him. Since he get the International title, I offered him the extra award. Soju and Lyn got 1500$ and 1400$ for July. However, I knew they wouldn’t be satisfied since they had many offers on hand. I could expect they wouldn’t stay long in WE.

7월에 SoJu는 ESWC World final의 타이틀을 획득했다. 나는 감정이 복잡해졌다. 한면으로 나는 진실로 그때문에 행복했었다. 다른 한면으로 나는 곧 생기게될지모르는 어떤것을 예감했다.  Bet이 좋은 봉급을 제공했다는 소식이 였다. 그것이 왔다. SoJu는 2000-2500$로 봉급인상을위해 내게 왔다. 예선은 고정되었고 우리는 선수가 청구하는 만큼 제공할수없을것이다 그래서 나는 그에게 거절했다. 그는 국제적인 타이틀을 갖은후 나는 추가적인 상금을 그에게 제공했다. 7월에 SoJu와 Lyn은 1500$와 1400$를 가졌다. 하지만 나는 그들이 손에 많이 부르는 값을 가졌기떄문에 만족하지안는다는것을 안다. 나는 그들이 WE에 오래 머물지 안을것을 예상할수있었다.

　　At the first day of wc3l，Soju told me it was the last game he played for WE, I couldn’t say anything. I was to remain Remind and Lyn. After my last trial, they didn’t accept my offerings. Then you guys have seen what happened.

Wc3L의 첫번째날에 SoJu는 그가 WE를 위해 경기하는 마지막 게임이였다고 내게 말했다. 나는 어떤것도 말할수없었다. 나는 ReMinD와 Lyn를 잔류하기위한것이였다. 나의 마지막 노력후에  그들은 나의 제안을 받아들이지안았다. 그때 녀석들은 일이 생겼던것으로 보여졌다.

　　I never meant to blame them for their leaving, since this is not a well-developed market. Different countries have different prices and consumption level but share the same global standard of salary. It’s unfair for Chinese, Europeans and Koreans. Everybody has his rights to purchase better welfare. Downwards water flows while upwards man goes. The world is changing fast, what WE has cannot meet their requirements. Looking for a change might be a good choice for both sides.

이곳은 잘 발전된 시장이 아니기때문에 나는 결코 그들이 떠난것이대해 그들을 나무라는것을 의미하지안는다. 다른 나라들은 다른 가격과 소비를 가졌지만 세계적인 기준의 봉급를 공유한다. 그것은 중국인,유럽인과 한국인에대해서는 불공평하다. 모든이들은 더낳은 행봉을 얻을 그의 권리를 갖는다. 아래로향하는 물이 흐르는 반면 위로향한 남자도 간다. 세상은 WE가 그들의 요구를 맞추어줄수없을정도로  빠르게 변하고 있다. 변화를 찾는것은 양쪽에대해 좋은 기회일지 모른다.

I’m angry with Soju’s words. First, I have to claim again, we never pay any less money to our players. Neither has the club possessed the award money of the players. It is not the truth that Soju said that he only got one month of salary in 2007. Second, as for NGL, it’s our clan’s fault and should be considered as a sudden case. But however, if Soju could not  accept that, he should refuse at first.. He could not take this as an excuse or tool to ruin our team. At that time I had decided not to go for NGL. Reis persisted with all the agreements from the Korean players. I can understand Soju just take these words as a brilliant excuse.

나는 SoJu의 말과 함께 화가나있다. 하나는 내가 다시 외쳐야만한다. 우리는 결코 우리의 선수들에게 적은 돈을 지불하지안았다. 팀이 선수들의 상금을 소유한것도 아니다. 소주가 2007년에 한달 봉급만 받았다고 말한것은 진실이아니다. 두번째로 NGL에대해서 우리 팀의 잘못이고 갑작쓰런 경우로써 고려되어져야한다. 그러나 하지만, SoJu는 저것을 받아들이지안을수도있다면 그는 처음에 거절했었야한다...그는 우리 팀을 파멸시키기위한 변면이나 도구로써 이것을 사용할수없다. 저때에 나는 NGL에 가지않은것을 결심했다. Reis는 한국인 선수들로부터의 동의를 모두 고집했다. 나는 빛나는 변명으로써 이 단어들을 했던 SoJu를 이해할수있다.

　　However, what is gone is gone. Words can never change the facts. I could say I never treated them bad these years. To the Media and all the Games, we’ve tried to get possibly better conditions for them. I can’t forget the moments watching their games with my empty stomach, screaming for each of their victories, creating more chances to get them to play here in China, releasing more of their replays to public to get more focus.. It has been 2 years, I look on them as our own children, watching them growing up is our happiness and achievement.

하지만 지난것은 지난것이다. 몇마디말은 결코 사실로 변할수없다. 나는 내가 결코 그들을 나쁘게 다룰수없다고 말할수있을것이다.대충매체와 모든게임에서 우리는 그들을 위해 어떻게든 더좋은 상태에서 갖도록 노력했다. 나는 순간 비어있는 위장, 그들의 승리의 각자의 함성, 중국 여기서 경기할수있게 그들에게 더 많은 기회를 만들어준것, 더 관심을 받을수있게 일반인에게 그들의 리플레이를 더 공개한것과 함께 그들의 게임을  시청을했던 순간을 잊을수없었다...그것은 2년이 돼었다. 나는 그들이 성장하는것을 보는것이 우리의 행복이었고 업적이였던 우리의 자신의 어린이로써 그들은 본다.


　　We should bless for a better team that they could find. Please don’t blame or play down Remind only for one former promise of his(Remind’s words to always stay in WE till he retires). Each person gets difficulties. For only one word, to get the pressure he not deserving to get, it will be too unfair for him. They are still young people, with a long way to go.

우리는 그들이 찾을수있는 더 좋은 팀을위해 축복해야할것이다.그의 이전의 약속(그가 은퇴할떄까지 WE에 항상 남아 있을것이라는 ReMinD의 말) 에대해서만  ReMinD를 제발 비난하거나 경시하지마라. 각각 사람은 어려움이있다. 한마디로 얻어야하는것을 압력에 눌려서 얻를만한것이 아닌것,  그것은 그에게 너무 불공평하다. 그들은 갈길이 긴 아직 어린 사람들이다.
